I had forgotten about this, in all the various changes my blogs and web sites have gone through, but given the current happening in Denmark, I decided to put them back up.

So, we’ve been to the ER 3 times in the last 4 days.

This lap top now thinks that the St. John’s “GuestNet” is one of it’s primary internet connections.

I strongly suspect that The Darling Wife will be admitted tonight/morning. When she was here last Saturday, we were given a choice. The Darling Wife decided that she didn’t want to stay. Not so now.

This week end it’s waist deep in sick people. Plus a mob of “spunky” black girls. Gah.

We’ve been here from 10:00 AM. It’s 6:50 PM and The Darling Wife still hasn’t been seen by any one other than the triage nurse. This is the longest wait we’ve had here.

My wife is ill again, or, I should say still. I strongly suspect that she’s going to be in the hospital by the end of the day. What ever is wrong with her colon is wrong again. We think she has blood in her bowel movements again. All most went to the ER last night, but she didn’t think it was quite bad enough to warrant the waiting.

This used to be a reason why my life didn’t suck.

It’s now a reason why it sucks. They changed it to require a AKO log in to get to the field manuals. Even the ones that are “approved for public release.”

Granted those have been getting more and more rare, but there is a lot of them that were.

So, well, at this point, I’m going to have to start looking harder for details for my war game “Opfor”.

Of course, this makes the assumption that I’ll ever start writing it.

Super Tuesday is over and I will not hear any more political ads for at least 6 months.

The bad news is that various people are reading way to much into the Oklahoma results.

For starters, we are the state that disproves this meme. Oklahoma’s black percentage is 7.76% . Well under 15%. Hillary won by like 24%.

Then we have the issue with Huckabee’s “sweep” of the south. Not so fast bucky. McCain won here. Granted only by 3 percent, but this is a more or less winner take all state for the GOP. I’ll grant that Huckabee won 2 of the 5 congressional districts, giving him 6 delegates, but it’s still not a sweep. Stop saying that.

I’m starting to hate listening to various political types on MSNBC.

1) Oklahoma is not “Midwest” and
2) It’s not “critical” for the Clinton campaign. It’s not critical for any Democrat. It’s going to go for the Republican by up to 20%, regardless of who it is. The last Democrat to carry Oklahoma in a presidential election was LBJ in 196freaking4

It sucks.

Yesterday it was 81. It’s going to get down to 25 tonight, with possibility of snow.

So, Oklahoma is now part of Super Tuesday.

It’s the day before the election, I’ve seen maybe a dozen signs. Mainly Huckabee and Paul.

Winning Oklahoma, of course, is vital.

I mean look how important it was in 2004. Wesley Clark won.

Something I’ve noticed, that Fedex proper, as well as Fedex/Kinko’s has started showing ads that basically say that their users are morons.

Fedex’s example is the “lemming” ad.

Kinko’s is the color copy of a black and white document ad.

I use Kinko’s a lot, but their current ads are just a bit off putting.
