I play Dungeons and Dragons. I’ve always done so, from the very first version way back in ‘74 or so. E. Gary Gygax played an important part of my life from about 14 on. He shaped more than a small part of geek culture and life in ways that are hard to explain.
He died Tuesday, of heart problems. He was only 69.
