Music to if not scare at least cause confusion in normals

Today we are looking at “Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Gold”

Starting with making an ISO-3 cup of tea.   It’s more “mellow” than PG Tips, but still has that touch of tanin that I like in a tea.  No floral notes, and very little “nose”.

The format of the tea bag is flat, not a “flow through” or a pyramid sytle.  This does mean it takes just a hair bit longer to brew.

It’s a good tea, I’m giving it a 8.5 out 10

Availability:  I got my box at the “All things English” shop in Broken Arrow, I’ve seen it at Moondragon Tea shop.  In other words, your going to have to look for it on this side of the pond.

I know that pot heads call pot “shit” some times.  As in “This is some good shit”.   However this is pushing this limit of that expression

We got about 6 inches on top of the 1/2 inch of ice. Generic photos of snow around the house and car to follow, once the sun is up enough so that I don’t have to use flash. The good news is we still have power and interwebs, plus it’s Saturday with nothing to do, so were good. There is a QT with in walking distance if all else fails. Plus a Pizza Hut, a Sonic and an Atwoods, so it’s all good. I’ll get some not so drab and depressing once the over cast goes away.

We have about 1/2 inch of ice over every thing, and it’s still coming down. The Google weather wigit says we should be getting snow later in the day. Oddly this front didn’t trigger a migraine. Mother doesn’t want me to drive her car on the ice, so I am staying home. I’ll try and get some photo of ice encrusted stuff later today.

There is no end to my joy and happiness. Looks like a repeat of the ‘07 storm. Happy happy happy.

However if it’s even raining around 8:30 I’m staying home. I’m not getting iced in at $WeSellUsedMacs

This cat has got way more balls than sense. Of course you notice the bear did make off with the garbage sack any way. I strongly suspect several of my cats or The Darling Wife’s cats would confront a bear. Psycho, of loving memory, I’m sure of.

This is not a gun for your average shooter. In fact I’m not sure who it’s a gun for. It’s damn sure not for any one in this video, other than maybe the last shooter. I’d like to see the Mythbusters test this one on the “blown away” myth. The shooters DO get knocked down. I suspect buster would move back several feed if it by this mother of all rifles.

They don’t mix.   I took my normal bed time medicine, to include the sleep aids, then set my clock to go off at 2:00 AM.  Slept right through it.  Which means work today is going to be trickier than normal.

I woke up this morning at 3:50 AM with a splitting migraine. Took meds, sent boss an email saying I wasn’t sure if I would be in, went back to bed. Got up at 5:00 and took another. Another at 6:00 It’s now 7:00. I’ve taken the 4th of the allowed 5 epirin. There may be a trip to the ER in my future. Already warned my mother. And I can’t drive for a few hours either, so it’s going to be late getting to work.

I’ve started to get a rash on my chest and arms. Not good. This means I’m off Lamictal and back to 10 mg Zyprexa, which works, more or less, just makes me gain weight. If the rash doesn’t go away in a couple of days, it means it’s most likely not Lamictal, but something else. Right now, I’m not sure what I want, I just want to be able to work a full day this is driving me up a tree.

I jumped on my brother in a hole because I’m cool like that. OK then.

In the current House of Crazy we have two cats, Keenii aka Baroness Mouse Slayer, Lady of the High Places and Ashley, aka Mother’s Cat.

Both of them are in heat now. This isn’t quite as bad as it could be because Keenii just rolls around and chin marks every thing in sight, plus spends a lot of time on my lap (more than normal).

Ashley, on the other hand is a talker. She wants a boy cat and she wants it now. And will tell every one about it, all night long. The only thing that seems to slow that down is if Mother rubs her lower belly. Mother figures that she is having menstrual cramps and is trying to help.

I suspect that a trip to vet, for at least Ashley is going to be added to the budget soonish.

This has been making the rounds of the various blogs I read. Though I would post it as well.

Brandy, my Min-Pen seems to think that if I am in the room, she needs to be there as well. Because I’m not using the pillows she might as well.

I got invited to an after hours alcohol allowed all adult gaming party at the my current game store. With my current meds, I can’t drink, so I had several Jone’s Pure Cane Sodas. The party started at 10:00 PM, which, in and of it’s self is past my normal bed time. Played a game of “Redneck Life” and short (i.e 3 hour version) of Combat!, which is sort of like Risk meets Axis and Allies by way of Dragon Dice. Both are cool games and I will play them again, but damn, 1:30 rolled around and I was in desperate need of sleep.  Had to leave.

I’m starting the 4 winds camping beta test today, more about it later.

Trying to cut down on real junk food, so during this weeks raid on the grocery store, instead of the massive amount of cookies and candies we normally get, I got nuts and dried fruit. Can’t hurt and might help in that drop 25 lbs thing I’ve got going.

At work, I normally use 3 tea cubes and 2 tablespoon (30ml | 1/8th cups cup) of Half and half. This does not make exactly the same tasty beverage as the home version, but it still 7 and a half out of 10. The way that half and half interacts with tea is different than how whole milk interacts, and I prefer the milk taste.

It’s 17 degrees out right now. High of 24 predicted for today (both numbers Fahrenheit). We are supposed to get rain and snow tomorrow.

There is no end to my joy and happiness. Of course when it warms up, it will most likely trigger a migraine, just like it did when it rolled in.
